April Grissom is a Saltillo, Mississippi native who has been married to Jason Grissom since 1998, and they have 2 beautiful children, Landon and Lydia. She has been in the insurance industry since 2014. In the wake of the 2014 Tupelo tornado, she made the decision to end her 18 year-long careers as a retail store manager. This life changing event gave her a new perspective on what the direction she was headed in her life. It started with the clean-up of both the Tupelo and Louisville tornadoes which made her realize she wanted to find a way to give back to her community. At this point, she began obtaining her life, health, property and casualty insurance licenses. This career shift gave her more time with her family as well as to volunteer with a variety of nonprofit organizations. Through insurance, she gets to develop relationships with people as they go through life events and make sure that they are insured properly for their current needs.
Originally from Atlanta, Suzanne Hand moved to Mississippi in 1996. She resides in Tupelo with her husband, Joseph, and has three children, Isabella, Alexander, and Avery. After the business she managed for her family for ten years closed, she discovered her calling in insurance. She truly loves her clients and enjoys helping them find insurance solutions that range from simple to complex. As Mississippi Insurance Brokers’ Commercial Sales Manager, she brings over ten years experience in the insurance industry, helping hundreds of customers. She thrives on building relationships through helping people. In her downtime, she enjoys cooking, listening to music or Audible books, and playing with her grandson, Cole.
